Speaking ahead of the 2026 National Dairy Show, Seamus O’Mahony, Head of Business Development, Innovation and Digital Transformation with Dairygold Agri Business, said:
“Dairygold is proud to once again support the National Dairy Show in 2026, an event that continues to play an important role in bringing Ireland’s dairy community together.
Having been involved since the show’s early years, we have seen first-hand how it has developed into one of the standout events in the Irish dairy calendar.
Each year, the show provides a valuable platform to showcase excellence in dairy breeding, share innovation and new technologies, inspire the next generation of dairy farmers, and create opportunities for farmers, families and industry representatives to connect.
For Dairygold, it is a particularly meaningful event, taking place in the heart of our catchment area and giving us the opportunity to meet with our members, customers and the wider dairy farming community.
Dairygold is boldly shaping the future of the dairy industry. www.dairygold.ie

Boehringer Ingelheim: Supporting Healthier, More Productive Dairy Herds
Boehringer Ingelheim Animal Health is proud to support the FBD National Dairy Show 2026 and looks forward to meeting farmers, veterinary professionals and members of the wider dairy industry in Millstreet.
Healthy animals are at the heart of a productive and sustainable dairy farm. As a global leader in animal health, Boehringer Ingelheim works to develop innovative solutions for the prediction, prevention and treatment of disease in animals. Its livestock portfolio includes vaccines, parasite-control products and treatments that help farmers and their veterinary teams protect animal health throughout the production cycle.
Disease prevention starts with understanding the individual risks on each farm. Working closely with their veterinary practitioner allows farmers to identify these risks and develop practical herd-health plans covering key areas such as calf health, respiratory disease, reproduction, parasite control and udder health.
A whole-herd approach is particularly important in dairy systems, where decisions made at one stage can influence animal health and performance later in life. From protecting young calves and managing infectious disease risks to supporting udder health through the dry period and lactation, consistent planning, monitoring and timely veterinary input can help keep animals healthy and productive.
Alongside its product portfolio, Boehringer Ingelheim supports farmers and veterinary professionals through scientific expertise, education and practical herd-health resources. By combining innovation with strong industry partnerships, the company aims to help dairy businesses respond confidently to changing animal-health challenges.
Visit the Boehringer Ingelheim stand at this year’s show to meet the team and find out more about our cattle health portfolio and how a prevention-led approach can support your herd.
We are proud to support the FBD National Dairy Show 2026 and look forward to seeing you in Millstreet.
